Human Rights

All humans have equal rights. An excellent principle if applied, but in practice, the world is not as good a place as it should be, because many humans are denied rights, including fundamental individual rights.

On many occasions, organisations, particularly relgioius and political, impose their values on others. This denies individuals the right to self-determinism.

The following articles form a Submission to Australia's National Human Rights Consultation. The submission makes a compelling case for human rights such as the freedom of belief and of non-belief, the right to freedom of choice in belief, the right to die with dignity (euthanasia), the right to freedom of speech, and the right to equality. The submission is especially critical of religions whose views are imposed on others, and of the indoctrination of religions, especially in children.
